Nahid Naghshbandi

Nahid Naghshbandi is an acting researcher in the Middle East and North Africa Division, focusing on investigating human rights abuses in Iran. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Bologna in History and Oriental Studies. With a particular emphasis on the Kurdish question and the Kurds situation in Iran and Iraq, she has conducted extensive research and work in this field. Additionally, Nahid is an accomplished writer of short stories, with publications in both Iran and the United States. She is a native Farsi and Kurdish speaker.
